A Girls Guide to OC- Part 1

A girls weekend in Ocean City in April can best be described through the restaurants and bars that were visited because, let’s face it, that’s what Ocean City does best.  Having lived here for a summer, it is always fun to re-visit old favorites, which we did this time around.  Hope that you enjoy Kate’s Guide to a Girls Weekend in OC!  (Disclaimer:  This post isn’t child friendly-  Sorry… but let’s be real… I’m not sorry!)

Upon Arrival:
Start your weekend off with junk food and penis decorations.  Palm trees and colorful straws also encouraged.  (thanks Sarah!)  It is imperative that you show up with alcohol of some form.  This way you will be able to get the party started immediately.  It doesn’t have to be top-shelf- our poisons were in fact Three Buck Chuck (no- in DC it's not 2- let's be serious here), boxed wine and Natty Light.

Stick to an easy and smaller dinner.  Mother’s Cantina is a perfect choice as you can get great drinks andddd individual tacos.  They are delicious!  While at dinner, Kim was approached by a man that proceeded to recite his own poetry to her.  It was pretty interesting…

While April isn’t peak season you can always expect Fager’s Island to have a good crowd.  Kim and I used to work there so it always makes for an interesting homecoming.  Word to the warning- Friday’s DJ was a bum!  I requested Avicii “Levels”.  He promised to play it over and over again and never did.  I pouted about that.

Overall, a great night to be had!  Getting busier by the minute at work so I think I’m going to post about Saturday tomorrow.  Cheers to a great weekend part 1!

  2. You must come our way to Tortilla Coast sometime soon. They have good (not great) food, but an awesome patio on P!
